Anyone who is a big fan of the American television series “Pawn Stars” will probably have seen a section in which Halo: Combat Evolved In the most recent episode, one owner believes he owns a copy worth $13,000.
What follows is a bizarre explanation of the game by the host, Chumlee (who apparently doesn’t know it very well, despite claiming otherwise), after which he points out that he needs someone to take a closer look at the game and confirm its legitimacy.
The conclusion is that the game unfortunately seems to have been resealed at some point in its existence and therefore is not a sealed original copy from 2001. It is claimed that it could be worth up to (or more!) $25,000 depending on the condition, but the resealing makes it worth about $25 at most. What a pity!
Anyway, it’s an interesting little video that’s been going viral in the last few days, even if it seems very staged to us. We assume the deals are real… but whatever we’re seeing on camera feels very strange!
