West Ham have Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United for a reported fee of £15 million. The 26-year-old defender, who made 190 appearances for United in five seasons after joining from Crystal Palace for £50 million in 2019, has agreed a seven-year deal with the Hammers.

“It’s an incredible feeling to be back in London and I’m excited about what’s to come,” he said. “I was born here and I know the ins and outs of London, which plays a big role in my life, so it means a lot to me to be playing in this city again.”

Wan-Bissaka, who was entering the final year of his contract at United, said: “I can’t wait to get on the field, meet the players and take it from there. I see a team that sticks together, that pushes each other to win and a group that supports each other through thick and thin.”

West Ham technical director Tim Steidten praised the valuable signing, with Wan-Bissaka’s Premier League experience stretching back to his Palace debut in 2018. “He is exactly the type of player we want to bring to this club in the prime of his career,” said Steidten. “He is an incredibly talented defender who we rate very highly and who excels in one-on-one situations.”

“He’s also versatile, which is definitely another plus. He’s played over 170 Premier League games, so he knows the league inside out.”

The wolfS Defender Hugo Bueno has joined Feyenoord on a season-long loan. The 21-year-old Spaniard made his debut for Wolves in 2022 and has played 48 times for them in all competitions. Feyenoord will play in the Champions League next season after finishing second in the Eredivisie. Bueno’s contract with Wolves runs until 2028.
