Herefordshire Council said the partial closure of a main road was necessary due to essential works, which included resurfacing the road and implementing anti-blocking measures.

Nearby Bringsty Vintage Café wrote in a Facebook post that the business was “absolutely devastated” when the road closure was announced, adding that the closure comes in what should have been the business’s busiest month.
